GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
AQUA SPLASH: Water aerobics. Resistance conditioning class in our heated pool. Lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility & cardiovascular endurance. NO swimming ability is required.
TAI CHI: (Beginner & Intermediate): Concentrating on breathing, balance and
control. Non-impact and low-level cardio for stress relief and flexibility.
YOGA/STRETCH: Designed to increase endurance, strength, and flexibility. Will
improve circulation and re-energize mind and body.
PILATES: increases flexibility, sculpts, slims, and strengthens the body. Helps to you lose weight, builds confidence, improves posture and aids in circulation and ease pain.
BOOT CAMP: bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity. A boot camp workout also can include functional fitness, such as using whole-body, multijoint exercises that simulate movements people do in life.
CHOGA: a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. It’s yoga in a chair.
SILVER STRENGTH & CARDIO: Low impact Total Body work out for strength, flexibility, cardio, and balance. We work with small hand weights, resistance bands, a chair for balance work, and relaxation techniques.
